EGERTON PARK PROTEGE PLAYING FOR ENGLAND

Emma Cooper of King’s B.C. Devon has been chosen for the Bowls England Women’s International Squad 2025.

Emma started her bowling career as a junior at Egerton Park, around 2010. She wasn’t able to attend the Saturday morning sessions that Ernie Harris ran, with the help of Doris Wickenden, for coaching juniors, so they started a Sunday morning session to include Emma.

She attended our coaching sessions until she was 16 years of age. After her ‘A’ levels, she went to Exeter University, where she has remained a Devon bowler since.
