Egerton welcomed local rivals Eastbourne to the Park on Saturday 5 th October. Eastbourne had difficulty fielding a full side for this fixture, which resulted in Triples being played on only four rinks.
Eastbourne started slightly stronger of the two sides and by the half time break they were leading 22-24. After the break Eastbourne enhanced their lead and came out worthy winners 49-65 by winning three of the four rinks.
