As Captain of the day Denis put it there couldn’t be a nicer place to receive a thrashing!
It was true we received a warm welcome at Hampden Park but the bowls didn’t all go their way. We were overall 30:61 down at tea & the final score was 69:120 but we did manage a win on 2 rinks. Well done to our top rink of Mary Elliot, Ken Brook & Paul Hales.
