CLUB MATCH PROCEDURE

              Teams Selected for each match will be displayed  on the                              relevant notice.

  Any member who has not ticked their name 2 days prior to the start of a match is liable to be regarded  as not available and be substituted by a reserve member.

Members selected for a match must report to the Captain at least 15 minutes before the start of a match.

 Members selected who are unable to play must notify the Captain immediately.

If you are unable to play on the morning of a match every endeavor 

must be made to inform the Captain by  9 am.

     Members selected to play must pay a full Match Fee.

During severe weather Members selected for a match must telephone the Club or the Club Captain to ascertain if the match has been cancelled.

 YOUTH SECTION

 

Open to Boys and Girls 8 to 18 years

From September to April

Coaching sessions are on Saturday and Sunday mornings 9:00 – 12:00 noon

Free use of bowls and shoes

The section has its own programme of coaching with fun practices, internal leagues and mini competitions on rinks designated to the young players under the supervision of qualified coaches.

All members have the opportunity to attend the Sussex County Bowls Youth Academy and the English Bowls Youth Development School of Excellence leading to National recognition.

   Many members of the section have represented Sussex in under 25 matches and participated in County and National competitions.
